    Hi,
My bull mastiff has constant bladder infections ( 7 in 6 years). The vet usually prescribes novo trimel, which seems to work well with a day or two. I am told to keep her on this dose for 21 days. Is this really necessary since the condition seems to clear up immediately? We have had her x rayed, and she has no stones. We have also had her thyroid checked, and that is ok too. She seems to have a physical problem with the formation of her vulva which collects bacteria. Can I stop after 10 day? She is taking two pills a day for 21 days. I hate to give her more than she needs, but I can't afford to have a culture done each time.
