I put an ad on Craig's list for OTC Alboz for any town on the borders in TX, Az, NM and I got all kinds of hits. Have not ordered yet but we still can buy from them if its non-rx. OTC Alboz is non RX. So it should be ok but am checking.

I am a user of this product I get acid reflux....I only once taken it as treatment for two weeks as directed...but i usually take this when I get acid reflux maybe twice a week it depends when i get it. i live on the border so its easy for me to buy...it works awsome...but i am sorry i myself do not know where to buy online....sorry...but recommend it.

u can get them at almost any pharmacy in mexico. very cheap too.

You can buy it on eBay. But beware, this stuff doesn't work as well for me as name brand Prilosec does. Alboz is in capsule form, and Prilosec is tablets, so I don't know if that matters or not.

I have been taking alboz for years. Now I cannot get it anymore. Use to be on ebay but ebay now bans it due to prilosec complaining.(cutting into there gouging price). I finally started taking probiotics 4 and cutting out candy, cookies and sugar's. My heatburn went away. I only have to take a alboz once a month or after I eat late (pizza or something tomato)spice. I have tried with probiotics and it does help most of the time. Alboz is hard on your bones and skeleton. Make them brittle. Also, the people who sell on ebay until they get caught are gouging. They mark it up 200% or more. Some of you who bought it in Mexico knows what the actual cost of alboz is (it comes in 2-for the same price). Frogg

is it safe to take 20mg everyday? Ive been taking Alboz for about 3 years now, every day!! I cant go a day without it or i will suffer with bad heartburn etc.

I wanted to add to my prior comment that I didn't think Alboz worked as well for me as Prilosec itself. In general, *anything* that has omeprazole isn't working for me as well as it did. After the Alboz didn't seem to work as well as Prilosec, I switched back to Prilosec, and that didn't work either. I found a blogger who suggested that I can "reset" the effect of omeprazole by going off of it for 5 or more days, then taking it again. I have been taking 20mg every day for about 6 months now. Worked really well for the 1st 6 weeks, then lost its effectiveness. My real problem is not being able to breath when I play ice hockey once a week. (Asthma induced by GERD.) I am up to 60mg on gameday, and that helps a little more than just 20mg at this point, but I hope that "resetting" will cause it to work well again. Maybe I'll be able to only take it for a few weeks at a time, before I have to go off of it, to go back on it again to get its effectiveness back. I'll report back in time.
