Arestin Microspheres belongs to the group tetracycline, which is used to treat infections caused by bacteria. Arestin Microspheres works by interfering with the ability of the bacteria to produce proteins, which is very essential to the growth and increase of numbers to the bacteria. Arestin Microspheres stops the spread of infection and the remaining bacteria are killed by the immune system or eventually die.

Chances or risks of having side effects may be increased if a large amount of Arestin Microspheres is prolonged in use.
Take Arestin Microspheres at regular interval. Complete the prescribed course of Arestin Microspheres unless otherwise directed by your doctor. Stopping the course early increases the chance that the infection will come back and that the bacteria will grow resistant to the antibiotic.

Diarrhea
Inflammation of the pancreas
Abnormal reaction of the skin to light, usually a rash
Balance problems involving the inner ear
Dizziness
Nausea
