I would like to know if this drug 2.5mg dosage has a strong effect on B-2 blockage...what is difference to B1 blockage of drug such as Normitten.??? I am a biochemist and was prescribed Cardiloc for blood pressure 140/90 and pulse 90. I have a benign tumor angiomyolipoma on my right kidney, had embolization for severe internal bleed and the tumor is smaller after 4 months. I believe the tumor pressures the kidney and raises my blood pressure. Could it be that when the tumor is reduced, I will have normal blood pressure??? Should I wait to take the drug?

Bisoprolol and almost all anti-hypertonic medications is selective beta-1 adrenergic receptor blocker without strong effect on beta-2.

Thankyou Jagged for answering my question about bisoprolol. Now can you tell me if the benign angiomyolipoma tumor pressing on my kidney causes the high blood pressure with pulse and should I wait to take the drug only when tumor is much smaller? Blood pressure 140/90 and pulse 90. The tumor is 9cm x 12cm and it shrank from 11 cm x 16 cm.

Hi, my dad is taking Cardiloc 2.5mg - he says that he tried Zebeta and others and had an allergy with them, and he can take only Cardiloc without side effects, but I can't find where to buy Cardiloc specifically.

    Boris,
Ask a pharmacist for the Generic Name for Cardioloc or look up company which manufactures drug... they will let you know the nearest distribution locations. I live in Israel and the makers are Unipharm Ltd. The generic name of drug is Bisoprolol Fumarate 2.5mg. By the way, I answered my own question about the high blood pressure. I started walking, eating sensibly, and systematically lowered stress in my life along with time for tumor to get smaller... didn't even take the drug and my blood pressure is NORMAL. I learned how to deal with stress in a logical fashion and eliminate it step by step. I received a Bonus at work for drastic positive life/work change and now are working on major life changes. I confronted fears and faced problems headon, working logically to eliminate obstacles and problematic people made to see things from my point of view or fixing my negative actions/reactions). I am not afraid of anything that comes my way. Let me know if you found drug...

I recieve Cardiloc 2.5 mg for 3 month.
I have side effects like downing my blood pressure to 98/56 with very strong weakness
The doctor told me to brake it to half a pile in spite the recommendation of the producer.
Now I have stomach problems like pressure or etching feeling and still suffering from weakness 2-3 hours after administration.
    What can you suggest me?
