Hi, I used to take catovit and it was the only drug that helped me with my chronic fatigue & fibromyalgia. Where can I buy it from, does anyone know ? I was told they stopped using because the orange coating on the drug was not environmentally friendly as it had to be dried a special way ( a pharmacist told me that) I can't believe or understand why they would take such an amazing multivitamin off of the market. Please if anyone knows where to get some, please let me know. Thank you

I was prescribed Catovit in 1996 when my GP suspected I was suffering from Narcolepsy. This was prior to undergoing the necessary sleep study, CAT scan, etc. When my condition was confirmed via the required tests, I was prescribed Dexamphetamine,from which I suffered unpleasant side effects, eg rapid heart beat, feeling tense & anxious, hives, and basically feeling like a nervous wreck. Although the Dex. did keep me alert, I found that Catovit did the same, without the unpleasant effects.
I live in Australia, and have been told that Catovit is no longer available here. Is this true? If so can this medication, or any other containing Prolintane HCL, be obtained elsewhere.
