Cinnarizine reduces the excitability of the vestibular apparatus. In patients with impaired peripheral circulation Cinnarizine Sandoz improves blood flow and potentiates postischemic hyperemia. This medicine increases the resistance of tissue to hypoxia. Pharmacokinetics After oral administration Cinnarizine Sandoz is absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, Cmax in plasma is reached after 1-4 h. The plasma protein binding is 91%. This medication is metabolized. T1/2 is 3-6 hours. Cinnarizine Sandoz is eliminated through the intestine largely unchanged, with the urine - mainly in the form of metabolites. Why is Cinnarizine Sandoz prescribed? Ischemic attacks (including the residual effects after a stroke). Labyrinth disorders (including for maintenance therapy for dizziness, tinnitus, nystagmus, nausea and vomiting of labyrinth origin). Motion sickness (as a prophylactic agent). Prophylaxis of migraine. Meniere's disease. Dosage and administration The dosage regimen is individual. Cinnarizine Sandoz is taken orally in 25-50-75 mg 3 times / day after a meal. Cinnarizine Sandoz in case of emergency / overdose Treatment: gastric lavage, taking activated charcoal, symptomatic therapy. There is no a specific antidote.

It helps for vertigo, motion sickness etc. I take it an hour before I go on
a boat out to sea to stop me from getting sea
sick. Works really well, and doesn't make me tired. You can usually buy it over the counter at a pharmacy, and don't need a prescription from a doctor. That's all in my experience anyway, not sure if things are different in different countries.

urgent urgent!
i just would like to know when the sandoz cinnerizine will be avalaible at the pharmacies in south africa! i co on flight trips alot and suffers from vertigo severe! please can you get back to me, can i order from you urgently! and what is going on with the suppliers. the pharmacies told me there's a big problem. there's alot alot of people that needs this tablet. serc and stemitil is not working for me. please get back to me, i don't care how much i must pay... i need the tablets! phone no 079 183 2807

I have used Sandoz Cinnarizine for years, it is not available in parmacy's
any more, can you please tell me why?
Is it possibel to buy this product direct from the distributor? It help for my dissiness and if you not going to distribute it any more please advise on an alternative tablet that is not costing an arm & a leg. (I live in South Africa) Kind Regards

I also suffer from severe dissines in my head and was using Sandoz
Cinnarizen 75mg twice a day but cant find it in South Africa! Please can
you tell me if I can buy it from the distributer directly!

I can't locate Sandoz Cinnarizine in South Africa. It was the most popular
sea-sick drug on the market. Stugeron is not a replacement as it makes you
tired and dry-mouthed by comparison. If you want an importer in South
Africa, I'll find you one.
