I had had my right ovary removed as well as 1/2 of my left because of cancer according to my blood test I am healthy & living a normal life. I am 27,never been pregnant before,and after my surgery I get a period every 20 days and getting pregnant is my dream. Do u think the cuerpo amarillo fuerte shots will work.

I'm using cuerpo amarillo. ur suppose to use them every other day 6 times. Its doesnt really matter what day u start as long as ur not prego. Cuerpo amarillo is suppose to strength ur utreus. @V just try it. its doesnt harm u. as long a ur ovulating u should b ok. bc ur utreus is the one that does the work. I also went to a sobandera bc my utreus was tilted an to low. So try to use them before or after ur period.

I started using the injection but my problem is my period is irregular so I went to Mexico recently bought the injections and went for a sobada but my question is how will I know if im pregnate and im still taking the shot cause it will be to early to test will it be bad for the baby? And did the shot work for anybody on here?

@nancy if u r pregnant it is not recommend to take it. The injection is usually recommend to b use on the 3rd day of ur cycle. every other day.

i used cuerpo amarillo and seen a sobada after trying to have a baby for six years it does work my beautiful daughter is now 15 months old and we are getting ready to do it again

@melissa, please, please tell me when you started taking the cuerpo amarillo on what cycle day?? I've been trying for almost 9 years... i'm about to go & see a sobada in 2 weeks, but started taking the cuerpo injections (but am worried, i may have prevented ovulation from occuring)...the 1st one last week (it was during my ovulation week) but didn't know for sure or not if i did acutally ovulate. i just bought some LH surge strips to get a better idea of when it's actually happening. any info you have would be greatly appreciated. lucky for you you have a gift from God your daughter.

ok...so you don't take it while your pregnant...you get a shot on the 3rd day after you start your period...every other day...until you use all the injections...is this right?

Erica - from what I understood you take the 1st injection RIGHT AFTER you ovulate (you have to know when this is) or if you take it too soon it MIGHT prevent ovulation.... From my experience, last month I took it in on cycle day 12 - but I didn't know if I had ovulated yet, I only did 3 injections cause then I started "over thinking" and got scared & stopped.... By stoppingthe injections, it made my period come a week earlier! Instea of being desperate, I bought a basal thermometer & some LH strips just decided to try it the natural route, along with some herbs (vitex, maca root, royal jelly)! Take precaution, this a hormonal drug & if not taken correctly could do more damage to your cycles!!! Baby dust to you and ME!! good luck! Oh I also plan on having a "sobada" done -- you should look into that!

Lisa- Yeah...the more I think about it the more it seems scary. I read in another site that if you take hormones before pregnancy and you happen to have a girl it might affect them in the long run...sucks! Erica - I'm so sorry for your loss. They do say to take cuerpo Amarillo (which is the hormone progesterone) and a lot of ppl who Mis carry take it because one reason ppl Mis carry is due to having low levels o progesterone. A sobada is a massager who massages your uterus to help with conceiving in case your uterus is lopsided or tilted. A lot of ppl believe they "warm up" yor uterus to help in preparation of conceiving. If I were you I would see a doctor to have them heck your hormonal levels. They could easily prescribe o you what you need. I haven't evengotten pregnant yet!! Baby dust to you!!!

I've been to the doctor a couple of times since then...they gave me the go ahead. My hormones are back to normal since the m/c. Thanks...I'm just worried it might happen again...good luck to you...

Hi girls I've had two miscarriages in the past year. I also went to a sobadora about a week ago and she suggested I use cuerpo amarillo as of today I'm on my 3rd dose and I had light spotting a few hours after the injection. This is supposed to be my fertile week. Has any one else had this problem or has this injection worked for any of you? Please advise

Susy...I've heard a lot of good things regarding the sobadas...I don't know a lot of information about cuerpo amarillo. Just that its a progesterone shot and I read on another site that women who take progesterone shots if they have a girl, she might have issues in the future. The friend who told me about the shot was pregnant when she starting taking her shots after having a m/c... also like Lisa said above if not taken on the right dates it can make you start your cycle. My mom suggested I stick with the vitamin shots/ pills. Hope it helps and good luck to you.

I been reading everyone comments. These shots work on some ppl an on other it dnt. i have 2 miscarriages last year & 1 this year. A total of 3 miscarriages. I have gone to like 4 different sobanderas an nothing has help me. In June I took the cuerpo amarillo shots an mess me up really really bad. Till this day i dont ovulate i stop getting my normal periods. I asked my RE dr an she wasnt to thrill to hear that i was using shots with out knowing what they are really for. I wouldnt trust any website about anything of this kind of info. I called an dr in Mexico as him what he sugguested and he explained what the shot is really meant for. There is lots of reason y we as women have trouble getting prego. like me I barely found out that my problem could be bc i had cysts in my ovary. Just talk to your dr a see what they sugguest.

I've been wondering, is it recomended to have sex everyday while on these shots? i would hate to skip a day and have that affect my chances of getting pregnant.

Lucy, I don't think it would matter if you continue to have sex due to the fact that you're only fertile for several days out of the month anyways.

Good luck ladies, my biggest desire is to be a mommy too, I was so close but wasn't meant to be, I pray I will be able to get pregnant right away again since it took me 15 yrs to get pregnant this last time and just had a m/c. I had lost some weight and I could swear that's what helped me conceive. :) let's not lose hope and keep our faith up!

My mom tells me I should take cuerpo amarillo, but I'm scared it will do more harm than good. We've been ttc for 3 mths with little success. I'm getting desperate. I have regular cycles but I had been on bc for a long time. I have 12 yrs old son, and I'm ready for another.

Blanca, if you have just recently gotten off b/c, it can take up to a year for them to fully get out of your system (depending on how long you took them for). Even a normal couple will take as long as a year before they conceive, even while actively trying. Don't get stressed out, it will only make it harder to get pregnant.
Regarding the cuerpo amarillo, it is progesterone, which, according to my fertility doctor, should be used right after ovulation, at a rate of one inyection every other day until they all run out. So basically, if your cycle is 28 days long, you should start getting the injections from day 16 to day 26 of your cycle. Hope that helps all of you!

hi.... in december 2010 i had a m/c... then i went this month to start the shots... i barely finished them on thursday!! my only problem is is where they put the shots its really irritated and there are big bumps comming out.. anyone know about that??
