Please note that "Gaviscon Acid Breakthrough Strawberry Smothie Tablets" have been discontinued. A call to their 800 number told me that possibly due to weak sales, but no real reason.

Gaviscon was probably discontinues because the pharmaceutical companies probably paid them off because the product actually worked! Lord knows they wouldn't sell any of that ansty Nexium they force everyone to take. That drug is dangerous. My opinion. Doctors prescribe like candy. It gave me some of the most severe headaches I've ever had. I weaned myself off with Gaviscon acid breakthrough and Zantac.

I agree. It was a great product and I am lost with it. Any "similar" products will have aluminum in them rather than calcium. Aluminum has been associated with Alzheimer's disease.
