Havent been able to get Irradol A in Australia for years. Told wasn't
selling. Probably taken off as was too good.
Is it still available anywhere? Thanks for your help

I jsut bought a bottle of Blackstrap molasses and it immediately reminded
me of IrradolA. I loved it as a child and want to know what's in it>

Iradol A was molasses and cod liver oil among other things. I had it as a
kid and am looking for it for my grand daughter. If anyone finds it please
let us know.

Hi - how amazing - I also took Iradol A when I was a child for recurrent
upper respiratory infections. I thought it had molasses in it and I too
recently purchased molasses and thought of it!! I did not know it had cod
liver oil in it but certainly the Vit A present in it was good for
inflammation and recurrent infections. A number of chemists and health
practitioners have told me it is no longer available and not manufactured
or supplied any more.

What a shame. We should start a movement :-)

Born in 1944 and I also remember taking Irradol A. It was kept in the
refrigerator and my mother would call me into the kitchen once a day and
pull out that jar and give me a spoonful. I loved it! I believe it did have
a fishy flavor (cod liver oil) and it was very dark and thick. Wish we
could find that again.

Hope some of you have had success in finding Iradol A. It was wonderful. I
can remember my mom keeping it in the refrigerator and getting a
tablespoon of the thick, syrupy "elixir" ready for me to take. I also drank
it mixed in a glass of milk which I enjoyed. My older brothers couldn't
imagine that I actually liked anything so "gross", for want of a better
term. They obviously hadn't tasted it. I, too, had numerous respiratory
infections, even though I had my tonsils removed in 1949, shortly before my
5th birthday.
