    Lederderm information

    Lederderm belongs to the group tetracycline, which is used to treat infections caused by bacteria. Lederderm works by interfering with the ability of the bacteria to produce proteins, which is very essential to the growth and increase of numbers to the bacteria. Lederderm stops the spread of infection and the remaining bacteria are killed by the immune system or eventually die.

    Lederderm is indicated for the treatment different infections caused by bacteria such as:

    Lederderm warnings

    Before taking Lederderm tell your doctor if you have:

    Long-term inflammation of skin and some internal organs

    People taking medicines that may have side effects on the liver
    Severely decreased kidney function
    Kidney failure
    Do not take Lederderm if you are allergic to its active ingredient or any of its inactive ingredients. If you have an allergy to Lederderm, stop taking Lederderm and immediately tell your doctor about it.
    Lederderm should not be used during pregnancy as it may present harm to the unborn baby. Seek medical advice.

    Lederderm intake guidelines

    Avoid taking Lederderm just before going to bed. To prevent irritation in the throat, take each dose of Lederderm by swallowing whole with plenty of water while standing or sitting.
    Try taking each dose of Lederderm at the same time each day for best and most effective results.
    Chances or risks of having side effects may be increased if a large amount of Lederderm is prolonged in use.
    Take Lederderm at regular interval. Complete the prescribed course of Lederderm unless otherwise directed by your doctor. Stopping the course early increases the chance that the infection will come back and that the bacteria will grow resistant to the antibiotic.
    Do not take iron preparations or indigestion remedies as the same time of taking Lederderm.

    Lederderm overdose

    Tell your doctor if you notice any of the following side effects of Lederderm:
    Diarrhea
    Inflammation of the pancreas
    Abnormal reaction of the skin to light, usually a rash
    Balance problems involving the inner ear
    Dizziness
    Nausea
    Vomiting
    Sensation of ringing, or other noise in the ears
    Loss of appetite
    Skin reactions such as rash and itch
    Bowel infection resulting in inflammation of the bowel lining
    Liver disorders
    Difficulty or pain when swallowing
    Mild increase in pressure within the skull
    Overgrowth of the yeast Candida
    thrush
    Staining of skin, nails, teeth, sweat, tears, eyes, breast milk
