What does a 10mg lisinopril tab (from sandoz)look like...color and shape?

I need to know if it is safe to cut the 10 mg Lisinopril (Sandoz) in half and take 5 mg in AM and 5 mg in PM. I am not trusting my Dr. because its the 4th drug I have tried and all hv been a nightmare of side effects. Now I am plagued with being so tired, nauseated, wrist pain, rash on legs and my heart pounds if I exert myself as much as washing my car (never had this before pill).

Everything I read says takes once a day!
