Hello. I would like to come off my Nuzak now. I have been taking 20mg for
twelve years and recently my doctors increased the dosage to 40mg and i
have had non stop panic attacks. I have reduced the dosage back to 20mg a
day to see if this will help. My doctor says he will not help me come off
them but I really want to wean myself off them with a vitamin supplement as
I want to get my health back and come off all my pills like Nuzax, Zopax,
Blood pressure pills, without the panic attacks. Please would you help me
with a way to do this without withdrawal symptons as my body has been
through enough.
Many thanks
Christina

Christina,
Was the dose increased to 40mg BECAUSE you're having more attacks? Remember
that the treatment should be taken at least a month before it starts to
work properly. Additionally I would NOT recommend you stop using all your
tablets at once, especially blood pressure medication. Feel free to explore
natural supplements like omega fatty acids, but bear in mind that 1)
doctors will rarely prescribe something that will only make your condition
worse and not better, and 2) if you have concerns or complaints about any
medication speak to a doctor you trust rather than taking the treatment
scheduling into your own hands; after all, we were trained for this kind of
thing. If a certain kind of medication isn't helping you, please report it
so that your doctor can investigate and prescribe something else that WILL
work. You can't blame the pills or the doctor when the tablets don't help
if you're chopping and changing your intake every day by yourself.

Hi. My wife had severe baby blues after our first child was born, and the
doctor prescribed nuzak. Now after two years she is pregnant with our
second child. The doctor said that she must go on with the nuzak, but what
worrys me is that in the pamflet it says that u should not take nuzak
during pregnancy. Can she take it or not?
