I am currently taking pencillin VK 500 mg tablets every 6 hours for a root canal that I had yesterday. I have been taking it since two days before the root canal. Within the past day or so, I have felt nauseous and have cramps in the stomach and intestine. Could this be side effects of the penicillin? I am a senior citizen and have never had any kind of reaction to penicillin. I have two more days on this prescription but thought you should be aware of this just in case it is a reaction to the medication. It's not severe and I can still function in my daily activities, but I just don't feel like my usual self. Have you had other comments similar to this for this medication? If this is the first you have heard of this, it may be another illness unrelated to the penicillin. Please respond. Thank you.

Betty That is the same side effect almost that I got from the Inert Ingredients in that Sandoz Tab. Dont't take ant Medication witrh those Inert Ingredients in them, they will cause Colon and Sinus Polyps if you keep taking them
