    Is placidyl (Ethchlorvynol) available in the U.S. by prescription? I get conflicting answers on this.

    Placidyl can be prescribed in the U.S. the production of ethchlorvynol has stopped since 1999 however, so unless the production starts again it would be impossible to get some placidyl unless you make it yourself.
