My 13 year old dog has had an indolent ulcer which has been treated by a vet by sewing the eyelids together for about 7-10 days. He said he was pleased with the eye, the ulcer was smaller and the eye would heal. Suddenly my dog had a huge swelling over the bad eye, this was a sting we found out later, but not before we had taken her to another vet who was nearer. This vet prescribed predniftalmina twice a day for 2 or 3 days. Now I see this is for human use, will this hurt my dog in any way? I will be pleased to receive any information on this. thankyou.
