    Is rhematac retard still available on the nhs?

    I have been prescribed Rheumatac Retard 75 for what has been diagnosed as severe bruising and/or muscle strain in my lower R.leg - very painful especially at night. At approx 7pm last evening I took first tablet with my dinner. Result has been no pain relief overnight and this morning I have cronic diarrhoea -3 times so far and its not yet 9am.
    I am a 75 year old male - any suggestions or help please!

    My GP has prescribed Rheumatac Retard 75 one daily with omeprazole at night after eating to mask pain and help with sleep I did this last night and did not get much sleep and terrible acid all morning your comments please. This was prescribed because I have osteroposis wth acute pain and deferred pain all down the left side Thank you Jeanine

    I started taking the meds last Thursday for tendonitus in my arm. Not only is it helping with that but all my other aches and pains have also eased. No side effects as yet but I feel like I want to keep take these meds for ever.
