my 5yr and 9 month old boy had an small scratchwith our pet dog so he had 1dose of xprab injection does he want to take 3 dose or 1 dose is enough

i have a 5 and 4 monts old daughter.She was scratched by a street cat.Shes
been given 2 doses of xprab on the 0 and 3 day but little is known about
this vaccine.Is it safe for her.Im worried for her.Does she need full 5
doses or 3 are enough.Secondly she cries a lot due to pain.Can we do
something about it or just leave it.

My son was bitten by an unknown dog.
He received Day 0 treatment, was then taken off treatment. Today is day 6 after being bitten and he should have had an injection on day 3 and then again tomorrow being day 7. I have decided to continue with the treatment program and he was given an injection today, being day 6. Should this be taken as day 3 injection or be taken as day 7 injection? |
