I was wondering why Zarontin is no longer available in capsule form and if it will ever be available again? My daughter takes it three times a day and the syrup is so hard to swallow (and I mean that very literally) that she gags every time she has to take it. This is so unfortunate, because she is already on a cocktail of medications, but it is the zarontin that seems to control the seizures the best. We have tried going off of it before and found much poorer seizure control, so went back on only to have them stop making the capsules!! Why?? Please start again!! I know I'm not alone when I say that the syrup is horrible! Is it a $$ issue? Too costly to produce the capsules....
Just grasping at straws, but it would be wonderful if it were to become available in capsule form again.
