I went into premature labour at 35w 3d and was given Cardifen Capsules 10mg, two every 15 minutes for an hour. The contractions stopped, but started again about a day later and I was given another two tablets about half an hour apart. I had a C-section about three hours after as the contractions didn't stop. My baby was born with severe brain damage and died six days later. I suspect it was the medicine as there is no other logical explanation.
