· in puncture wound - see open wound by body region
· residual, in soft tissue ( M79.5 )
- splinter, without major open wound - see superficial injury by body region

- T16 Foreign body in ear
- T17 Foreign body in respiratory tract
- T18 Foreign body in alimentary tract
- T19 Foreign body in genitourinary tract
