this is a mother of a nuroblastoma staged 4 daughter, she had her chemo therapy and she is supposed to have curacne for about 6 moths. id like to know the side effect of this medicine , how effective is it and how to treat the skin dryness. her age is four years old.

hi..I'm fofo from Jordan..I've been used curacne since 11 days only..I've experienced some side efects even short duration, such as dryness(and it's normal),feeling sleepy most times, the acne in my face becomes more and more painful,also whiteheads appear suddenly and it scratches my face strongly,and face skin inflammation.On other hand, I feel swollen in my face and the amount of acne is increased and becomes in another shape (bigger).

hi diana i'm fofo..it's very very dangerous to be pregnant during the time of taking curacne..so don't try that if u r taking curacne..if u want that u must stop using it..and avoid being pregnant for about month at least from the time u stop taking it..finally u must see a doctor to be sure...

I have been taking Accutane for a mounth and a half now. The only side affects that I have been having are:
Chaped lips- so you need to have chap stick with you at ALL TIMES !
hEAD aces come and go.
some one was talking about sleeping bad... well I sleep bad anyways.....
some one also said something about joint pains well I use my computer a lot so I really dont know if its from that.
well I have been notifed that it may cause depprestion I dont feel sad.... I am an artist Right now I just dont feel inspiered in life. There are no thoughts of suicide I love myself too much to even think about it! I think this treatment works on each person individualy! I am taking the 40 accutane pill .
BTW I am 26 years old. I started breaking out bad a year ago nothing has help me that good except Dermelogica face wash I highly recomend!!!!

I took Curacne for 4 months (30mg per day) from May to September 2010. From Sep 2010 till now, it is almost 4 months and I 've just found that I have a 6 week baby. So is it fine for my baby? whether or not the side effect can happen to my baby? I worry about that 4 months are not enough time to eliminate all side effects of medicine out of my body.

I'm 18 years old and I've been on curacne for 5 days now ,and I've been reading a lot about this medication and what to drink when you take the pills , it seems to be that you should eat "fatty food" and a glass of water or simply "MILK" but be sure it's not skim because FAT is good for you when you are on Isotrentinoin because it will increase absorption, and milk does not line your stomach like some people say , and if you are allergic to dairy products you can use peanut butter instead.

I thought I would write a positive note to all... I have been on Curacne for 3and a half months... and the difference is incredible. At first my acne got worse, skin was peeling more and my lips verry dry and cracked but now after 3 and a half months my lips are no longer that dry (although still having to use lip balm) and my skin looks great! I am only seeing about 1 spot a week! Yey! So keep on it and you will see a difference too! wooooowooo

I've been using this medicine for one week and even though i've notice a little improvement, yet i'm thinking of stopping it.
Bbecause i heared ur face shape changes and lips!!! U may experience difficulties while talking!!!
I already have headach from it and i feel sleepy.
Also dryness within my mouth. I have asthma since i was young and i feel i am experiencing difficulities in breathing, i can't breath well since i took it and been coughing all day!!!
Plus, i can't expose myself in the sun, while my job needs me to be outside most of the time & i've been there out and the dr didn't tell me this!!!

taking 3 pills a day for 4 months. im starting to notice that my face is becoming less oily and more dry, so are my lips, but am frequently using carmex, and applying vaseline to my face every night to counteract the dryness. im also using other anti acne cremes which are helping.

my face got very dry today and it started peeling, but im not getting any new acne. i think it worked faster with me because im taking 3 pills a day

Ahhhh.. I HATE this medicine!
I don`t deny the fact that it is actually working with me.. now it`s been almost 1 month, but it is really annoying! Never expireoenced as much as these side effects from any other medication!
Anyway, what's really annoying is that my whole face is peeling even around my nose and eyes which is hurt and looks awful! plus I have asthma and it makes it worse I can not breath well and coahing all the time! I also feel less active & sleepy.

been on curacne for 23 days now, and it's fucking amazing, my face has never looked so clear or felt so soft and smooth. i still get a few pimples on occasion but they dry out in a day or two, however im still left with the acne marks, which need a while and some acne spot medication before they are completely gone. also, in my case, the side effects like pealing and dryness were severe at first but now they are manageable. however back and joint pains are still annoying but i am getting used to them. one can always reduce the dose whenever he wants to, but he will have to take the medicine for a few more months

im taking 40 mg cureacne for 8 months and after my first month .. cholesterol level is 1.84 g/l !!! would this level continues on increasing next month above 2 g/l ?? :S what i should do

I have been using Curacne for 28 days now. I have lots of pimples coming out and my face and lips are very dry.

During my first 2 weeks of taking curacne, my face was really gross. Lots of pimples came out with pus. My face was very itchy, I wanted to scratch but it can't be. My doctor advised me to use Cetaphyl lotion on my face to help moisturize my dry face and she also gave me vaseline lip balm for my chapped lips.

Ah the most important thing to remember while taking this medicine is NOT TO GET PREGNANT because your baby will be deformed, she even let me sign a waiver saying that it's not the doctor's responsibility if I get pregnant.

Also, I have to go to the doctor every month for my blood test before she will prescribe me curacne for another month. By the way, here in Dubai, we can not buy curacne without Doctor's prescription since this is a monitored medicine.

j'utilise curacné 30 mg par jour pendent 2mois et il me reste 5 mois le resultat est parfaite..les lévres sont trés séches,le saignement du nez des douleurs..etc...je veux juste savoir est ce que le résultat parfaite de curacné continue meme aprés l'arret du traitement ????
